Data deletion
1. Deleting your Pleja account
- Log in and open Settings, then "Delete account".
- Read what will be deleted, confirm with your password and type the word USUŃ (Polish for "delete").
Immediately after you confirm:
- we revoke Pleja's access to your TikTok accounts and delete the access keys,
- we cancel scheduled posts,
- we log you out on all devices.
Within 30 days we delete video files, thumbnails, posts and the rest of your account data. You will receive a confirmation email. Database backups are overwritten after 14 days, which removes the last traces of the account from them.
2. Deleting data without access to your account
If you cannot log in, write to kontakt@pleja.pl from the email address linked to the account and ask us to delete your data. We will reply within 30 days (Article 12(3) GDPR). If you write from a different address, we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
3. Disconnecting a TikTok account
- In Pleja: Connected accounts, "Disconnect" button. Pleja revokes access in TikTok, immediately deletes the access keys and profile data, and cancels scheduled posts on that account.
- In the TikTok app: you can remove access for Pleja in the app permissions settings. When TikTok notifies us, we delete the keys and profile data in the same way as after disconnecting in Pleja.
Disconnecting does not delete posts that are already published on TikTok. You delete them in the TikTok app.
4. What remains and why
- Correspondence, complaints and illegal content reports: up to 3 years, in case of legal claims (limitation period).
- Deleted account: a record that the account was deleted, without personal data (only a hash of the identifier and dates), to show that the request was carried out.
- Posts on TikTok: they belong to your TikTok account and we do not delete them for you.
All retention periods are in the Privacy Policy.
