Cookie Policy
This is an English translation. The Polish version is binding. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. The browser sends them back on later visits, so the website can, for example, remember that you are logged in.
2. Which cookies Pleja uses
Pleja uses only one cookie, which is strictly necessary for the service to work. Under Article 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law, such cookies do not require your consent, so we do not show a consent banner.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
__Host-pleja_sid |
Session identifier: keeps you logged in and stores (on the server) the CSRF token that protects forms from requests made in your name by other sites. | Until you log out or the session expires: after 12 hours of inactivity, or 30 days with "Remember me". | Pleja (pleja.pl) |
The cookie is created only when you log in or open a page with a form (for example contact). Browsing other pages does not store any cookies. The language of the page comes from the address (for example /en/), not from a cookie.
3. What we do not use
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels, third-party fonts or third-party scripts. If this ever changes, we will ask for your consent first, and refusing will be as easy as accepting.
4. How to delete cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Without the session cookie you cannot log in to Pleja or send a form.
5. Security
The session cookie is sent only over encrypted connections (Secure), is not available to scripts on the page (HttpOnly) and is not sent with requests from other sites, except when you follow a normal link (SameSite=Lax). On a shared computer, log out when you are done.
